#TPCOWellnessWednesday | Benefits 101

We’ve all been there. The HR Department announces that the Open Enrollment period is approaching which means it’s time to choose your health insurance plan offered through the company. You quietly panic because you don’t quite understand all of the details and choices you have. Let’s be real .. it’s a bit overwhelming even for those of us who have gone through this process before.

We think we have something that can help! Check out this video below where Sally De Sousa from our HR Department overviews some benefits terminology and basic information.

All full time employees are required to complete the Open Enrollment process, which opens on Thursday, May 20th. New Benefits are effective July 1st, 2021.

Please plan to attend ONE of the TWO Open Enrollment Info Sessions being offered to all full time employees.

  • Session I - Wednesday May 19th 1:00 PM EST (https://tpco.zoom.us/j/98720383586)

We have made some changes to our benefits for the new plan year, including:

  • Moving to Blue Cross Blue Shield as our medical healthcare provider

  • Moving to Guardian as our Life and Disability provider - meaning we will have a true open enrollment (no Evidence of Insurability needed!) for STD, LTD and Supplemental life insurance up to the guaranteed interest amounts of $150,000 for employees, and $25,000 for spousal coverage.
