Company News
Exciting news! Eastern on 10th in Greenville, NC was recently up for sale but we were able to successfully recap the deal with new partners. Not only will this will allow us to keep the asset in the Preiss Company portfolio, but we will be able to invest money into capital improvements for the property.
Shout out to our New Business team, PM Leadership team and the on-site property team for helping make this all possible. We’re excited to continue having a strong footprint in the Greenville, NC market!
In other news, The View at University Center in Las Vegas, NV recently sold to new owners. We’re sad to say goodbye to this property, but great news! A few of the employees were able to relocate to other properties to continue their Preiss Company journey.
We love to see our folks take a bold step in their TPCO career by taking on new roles, even when that is in a different city! Just a friendly reminder that there is an internal job board linked on Preiss Central which showcases all of the current open positions within our organization. “I wanted to forward this sweet little shoutout for Elizabeth George (aka Chambs). This gentleman has 2 visually impaired sons who were scheduled to move into the Boundary this fall. When I was there for turn, I witnessed Elizabeth work hand in hand with the boys’ caretakers so that the tenants could become familiar with the property, the route to their units, and the route to campus from the Boundary weeks before they were set to actually move into the building. Even though we’re required to make “reasonable accommodations”, Elizabeth made sure the boys were well taken care of so that when they started school there would be no hiccups. The dad also happens to be one of the sweetest people in the world and hasn’t asked us for a thing besides letting his boys get familiar with the community a few weeks before the hecticness of move in. He’s so happy that they want to stay there again. Way to go Chambsy!
