December Round Up
Spotlight
Multifamily Innovation® Council proudly announced the official rankings for the 2026 Best Places to Work Multifamily® program, celebrating workplace excellence and recognizing organizations across the country that create outstanding employee experiences in the multifamily industry.
This recognition highlights the importance of strong workplace culture in today’s multifamily landscape. As leaders navigate rapid change in operations, technology, and resident expectations, employee engagement has become one of the clearest indicators of organizational performance. The Best Places to Work Multifamily® program honors companies that invest in their teams and demonstrate a measurable commitment to cultivating exceptional workplace environments.
We are extremely proud to announce that Preiss ranked 7th out of 28 multifamily operators in the 5000-19,999 unit category. Give yourself a pat on the back and high five a teammate for contributing to the overall culture and success of our organization! We could not do it without each and every one of you!
Resource
Life can be unpredictable, and you don’t have to navigate challenges alone. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Ability Assist® offers confidential support for you and your family members, whenever you need it.
The EAP provides access to emotional and work-life counseling, financial and legal guidance, and HealthChampion℠ support to help you manage health-related questions and benefits. Each covered individual can receive up to three counseling sessions per issue per year, with additional resources available by phone or online.
Support is confidential, easy to access, and available 24/7. We encourage you to take advantage of this benefit anytime life feels overwhelming.

We encourage all employees to join as many ERG meetings as they wish for a great opportunity to connect with fellow employees who share common interests. “Want to give a special shoutout to Mariah with Riverfront!
I have CRAZY social anxiety and she’s welcomed me as a good friend that made my experience with conference last month memorable. We both share a lot of common stressors with our properties and ownership groups and I just want to thank her for always being an ear as I am to her! I think it means a lot when PMs stick together, no matter the distance; as we are all fighting the same battles in different variables! ”

Milestone Anniversaries
We’d like to recognize everyone celebrating their work anniversary this month! We’re so glad you’re a part of the Preiss family and appreciate all you do!
We have made a change to the way we calculate an employee’s milestone! From now on, for the employees who left and returned to the company, we will be couting your total time as your milestone. For example, if you worked 3 years for Preiss and then left and returned for 2 years, your milestone will be 5 years in the month that your total time hits the milestone.
