October Round Up

Spotlight

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new recognition:
The Facilities Impact Award — celebrating facilities/maintenance team members who lead with initiative, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. This will be a quarterly recognition and the winner will receive a $500 bonus check!

This award recognizes individuals who don’t just do their jobs — they drive progress, lead by example, and go above and beyond to make an impact on their property, their team, and the company as a whole.

It’s only fitting that our very first Facilities Impact Award goes to someone who embodies all of that and more:
Please join us in congratulating our inaugural winner!

Angie Varela

Groundskeeper at 21 Pearl

Why Angie?
Angie has taken on multiple roles at her site and has continuously progressed into an efficient and effective tech/housekeeper. Her versatility and dedication have been truly inspiring.

When asked what projects she’s tackled that went above and beyond, the answer was simple: all of them. From work orders to housekeeping to handling Turn — often with little to no help — she does it all, side by side with her supervisor, never missing a beat.

“Angie, I am very proud of the wonderful employee that you have grown into and look forward to many more years working with you. Congratulations!!!!!”

Raul Deleon | Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Angie, thank you for being a shining example of what it means to drive results, support your team, and lead with action.

We look forward to recognizing more incredible team members like Angie in the months to come!

Highlight

We received our Q3 Secret Shop Results from Black Sheep, and we wanted to recognize those who scored 90% and above! These results show that you all are going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service and experiences for our future residents, and we greatly appreciate you all for that!

Overall Portfolio AveragesTour 81.44%

We also wanted to include the portfolio average and the top 3 scores. We're hoping this provides some frame of reference for you all to see where we stand as a portfolio, and how your property might fit into that average.

These secret shops are completed at random during each quarter of the year. Black Sheep will only be performing in-person tour shops going forward. All properties shopped during Q3 have received their detailed shop reports. If you would like to request additional training in any area, please fill out this Training Request Form!
